Have you ever felt the weight of the world on your shoulders, as if Christ was to be too busy for you?
Trust me, we’ve all been there. In those moments, where we feel hopeless. Whether it’s a bad situation, or the outcome of our own sins, we’ve faced trials and have felt the weight of our own sins inside of us. These things eats up alive, it causes us to stumble and sometimes to even fall away from God. We feel nothing but hopelessness. We don’t know where to go, because we don’t have that light burning inside of us. We can’t see our way out of the tunnel, because we walked away from Christ.
Shockingly enough, we don’t have to run away from Jesus. The Bible clearly says that He will accepts us as we are. He’s not looking for perfection, He’s just looking for Children who are willing to live unashamed for His name. Paul wrote in Romans that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. How amazing is that? He didn’t have any conditions, He didn’t say that you had to clean yourself up. No, He’ll do the cleaning for you. He’s not too busy, all He desires is your heart.
I even used to think that being a Christian you must clean yourself up, but this couldn’t be farther from the truth. If it was you who was meant to fix everything, you would had been on that cross over 2,000 years ago. You would had rose from the grave. You would had walked the earth for 40 months before rising back into the Heavens. But as 1 Peter 2:24 says, it was Him who bared all sin, so we could live righteously, the way God had intended this whole entire time. It’s by His wounds, we are healed. On the cross, He made us priceless. Meaning that through Christ, we finally received worth that we had been longing for. Through Christ, we are able to be free. Your wrongs, your bad situations, they’re not too big for a God who literally beat death just in three days.
Through faith in Him, we can get through anything. There’s nothing our God can’t do, that means getting through tunnels we never thought we could get out of. The only thing to do is to run to Jesus, because there’s no other way than through Him. Running to Him takes a lot of effort, but it’s definitely worth it.
Love and peace to all.
